Is your running team fit for the Running Award 2008?
The Running Award is a special prize within the Half Marathon of the TUI Marathon Palma de Majorca. Company running teams from Europe are being called upon to join forces and run together in sporting competition. The fastest team wins!


The prizes:
The company teams battle for the title of "The fastest company in Europe". The first three teams will be rewarded – in addition to a trophy and of course the honour – with extra attractive prizes.


This is what to do:
Irrespective of how many employees run for your company it is the best four finishing times that go into the assessment. Note it is finishing times of the two fastest female runners and the two fastest male runners per company that are assessed.

So generally speaking the more runners you have running for your company, the better the chance of winning the title.
In addition all runners will of course be assessed in their respective age group in the TUI Half Marathon.


Fees:
No extra fee is due for this special category. Please do not forget to indicate the name of your company when you register.

Note: Every runner must in addition to filling out the form here register using the official application form for the Half Marathon. Filling out this application form does not obviate the need to fill out the standard application form for the race!

Review 2007
How fast is your company? Once again that was a question asked at the 4th International TUI Marathon Palma de Majorca. We are pleased that the competition among companies, which takes place within the half marathon, is becoming more popular and for the first time attracted a Spanish RUNNING AWARD team. Included in this year’s line-up were the reigning champions from TUI and two teams from EVAG.

New in the pack were, among others, a big team from the Estée Lauder company in Munich with the catchy slogan “We run for beauty“. Also the ketchup and baked beans manufacturer HEINZ attracted a lot of attention as they had a celebrity team member running in the person of the well known actor Martin Semmelrogge.

Then at the awards ceremony came the big surprise: the TUI RUNNING AWARD team from last year had to step down to make way for the new winning team of tour operator Thomas Cook from Lanzarote. Thanks go to all the company teams and already we are looking forward to the next RUNNING AWARD, which will be held on 19 October 2008.
